Founded in 2001, On Stage School of Performing Arts has proudly served the South Shore of Massachusetts for over two decades, providing a dynamic and professional training ground for young performers. We are more than a dance studio—we are a full performing arts school where students are immersed in all three core disciplines: dance, acting, and voice. Whether your child dreams of taking the Broadway stage, pursuing a college BFA program, or simply discovering the joy of performing, our mission is to nurture their growth, talent, and confidence every step of the way.
At On Stage, our students are triple-threat performers. They train rigorously in dance, while also developing strong acting technique, character work, and vocal performance through our musical theatre, acting, cabaret, and private voice programs. We believe that true artistry comes from a well-rounded foundation, and our students benefit from learning how to connect movement, voice, and emotion into one compelling performance.
What truly sets us apart is the quality of training that happens inside our studio walls. Our classes focus on technique, discipline, musicality, storytelling, and stage presence—but they also teach professionalism, respect, teamwork, and the ability to take direction. These core values prepare our students for success whether they’re auditioning for a local production or a prestigious college program. Our students don’t just perform—they train like professionals.
Beyond the studio, we offer exceptional opportunities: students perform in local community events, take Master Classes with Broadway and television artists, train in New York City, and star in full-scale musicals and showcases. These experiences help them grow not just as performers, but as confident, expressive, and capable young people.
Over the years, our students have gone on to attend prestigious summer intensives, top-tier college programs, and even work professionally in the arts. In 2024, we were honored to be named Access Broadway National Champions, recipients of the Stage Door Cup, and awarded Best National Dance School—recognition that reflects both the passion and the professionalism of our training.
